How POOMS Open Reviews Work
While there exists a diverse configuration of Open Reviews models within the larger Open Access publishing space, for instance the anaonymous peer review, signed peer review, anonymous and published peer review as well as the signed and published peer review models.
At POOMS Publishing, in addition to our post-publication open reviews model, we use a mandatory signed and published peer review model. This is because at POOMS Publishing, the value of our novel management research publication model hinges on the maximization of both practitioner-relevance and scientific rigor and for the latter to be sufficiently implemented, peer review reports, comments and author responses during the peer review process must be published. Therefore, our signed and published peer review model is automatically activated once a manuscript is submitted. Submitting an article to any POOMS journal implies consent to having the manuscript's review report histories and its associated author responses published.
This opening of the peer review process deepens the integrity and credibility of the peer review process and provides a broadened set of insights and perspectives to the larger scientific community.
